Charging an Electric Vehicle from the Battery in a SolaX System

SolaX systems can be equipped with both a battery and an EV charger. In some cases, you may not want to charge your car from the battery, while in others, you do. Therefore, there is a dedicated setting that allows you to control this behavior for each site — whether to allow the car to charge from the battery.

This setting is particularly useful when you want to power your home at night, but as soon as the sun rises, you want to charge your car. Let’s go through the steps to configure this option.

Steps:

  1. Open SolaX Cloud.

  2. Select the plant where you want to enable or disable this function.

  3. Go to the Devices / Eszközök menu.

  4. Next to the inverter, select Remote Settings / Távoli beállítás.


  5. Choose the Settings / Beállítások menu.


  6. Enter your installer password.

  7. Select the Advanced / Haladó option.


  8. Scroll down to find the Battery Charge EVC / Akkumulátorról töltse az autót setting.


    • Set this option to Enable to allow the car to charge from the battery.

  9. Save the configuration.

Once this is done, your battery will now charge your car when enabled.
