Saving Huawei LOG Files

In the event of a fault, Huawei may request that you send the LOG files. Since this rarely occurs, it is not always obvious where to find them.

In this article, we show how to export the required files.

  1. Log in to the FusionSolar application.
  1. Under the Plants menu, select the Log Export option.
  2. Choose the Create Task command.
  3. Leave the default device selection (all devices).
  4. In the Plant tab, enter the plant name to find the specific site, then click the Search button.
  5. Once the plant is found, select all devices belonging to it, then click Submit.
  6. The system will save the files to your computer’s Downloads folder; this process may take some time (approximately 40 minutes).
  7. The file will be in .zip format, which should be attached and sent to Huawei without extraction.
